There is a very wet area - heavy clay bog - of the garden and about the only thing that has flourished there is Acorus Ogon which is looking really lovely and bright at the moment.  Started off with one plant which I immediately divided and now have plenty!

Just caught up with what's been happening here.  Kate - glad you've survived your first week, hopefully that's the worse bit over.  BJay - glad your foot is getting better.  Geoff - sorry you're feeling  and .  Hope everyone is having a good weekend.  OH and friend here watching Wales getting beaten by Argentina (Rugby) so they are a bit  as well.

I won a competition once - a Turkey Dinner - downside of this win is that I'm vegetarian!

Hi everyone.  Oh Becks, hope Jess will soon feel better.  Don't worry if she's not eating but try to encourage her to drink.

Evening Dean - site working fine here too.  Geoff - perhaps the dog is worried because he's heard you say  you're going to Spain and doesn't know if he can come too.  Perhaps you need to have a little chat with him.

Jo - hopefully they will now have run out of space and once they get over the novelty of the hot tub will probably have to move.

Afternoon all. Becks - strange to hear you say "morning lovelies" LOL.  Geoff you are looking very festive already, Can we start making predictions on number of viewings?  Hibernating sounds a good option to me .  Just reduced the ironing mountain an ironing hill - too wet to go outside.  Found some of last year's stewed apple lurking in bottom of freezer so defrosted it and put outside and the blackbird has now eaten so much he can't eat any more but is standing guard over it!
