What's the weather like in your area?

Dull but dry so far and not too cold.  It's very still and there is still a hint of the smell of "bonfires" in the air!

HI everyone.  Becks - we've been with Sky almost from the start and we've never had any probs with them (fingers crossed).  They are one of the best companies for trying to keep their customers and if anything does go wrong just threaten to cancel and that will sort it straight away.

I've just been to a brilliant "garage sale" across the road at neighbours due to move shortly.  So far I've got a pile of new bricks (for new flowerbed), a bag of compost, a 4 drawer plastic unit on wheels, a garden table and 4 chairs - ALL FREE!  They haven't finished sorting yet and I've been promised first refusal on any gardening stuff.

Hope all who are under the weather get better quickly.  Geoff - spotted anything new today? .

Hi everyone - yes site it is running very slow for me too so I have given up trying to catch up with the latest posts. Hope you are all OK (keep warm and dosed up Dove).  Fireworks not to bad tonight, think most people did theirs over the weekend.

It started off well, then had some showers and right now we are having a hailstorm again.

Lots of lovely veg at a reasonable price in the supermarket today, including sweet potatoes, so a nice vegetable soup has been made and also bought some french bread to have with it.  However, after all that goodness I fell for the temptation of some cream cakes for afters.
