What's the weather like in your area?

Hasn't stopped raining all day today either.

Glad you all liked the cobweb pics.  Maud - a spider hanging on for half an hour would freak me out! I often come in from the garden and take my top off, turn it inside out, give it a good shake before putting it back on to make sure nothing is lurking inside.  I dont mind looking at spiders or catching them in the house and putting them outside but down my jumper ....

S Violet - Hope the week ends better for you - relaxing in front of the fire seems the best thing - maybe some tea and cake too. (my laptop has been misbehaving on this site too)

Hollyhocks

Thanks Alina, I was wondering what I could do to prevent rust on my "old" hollyhocks.  Have got a nice lot of leaf mould from last autumn I can use so hopefully that will do the trick.

It's tumble dryer weather here in South Wales!

Zoomer - I love cobwebs too and took these pics when they were covered in dew.  You have no idea how many there are until they are wet or you walk into one! (Apologies to those who don't like anything to do with spiders)

Hi all, another theory that's going around is that the Mayan Calendar did not include leap years so technically the world should have ended several months ago!

Hi everyone - It has taken me so long to catch up on the latest posts that I've forgotten what I wanted to say to you all!  Anyway - hope all people and animals who were poorly are feeling better and thanks for sorting out the "dates" problems for us Geoff.  Going to see if I can answer more than 3 questions on University Challenge now

Hi Bridget, you could try Amazon.com - they will probably direct you to quite a few suppliers - or ebay.

That's the trouble with us gardeners, we have a fine day and work like crazy and often don't think of sitting and relaxing in a bit of autumn sunshine! Glad you did the right thing and enjoyed it Zoomer44

Shrinking Violet - I thought it was you waving yesterday
