I worry about that too so I usually snip the dried fruit with a small scissors - less cleaning up that way, but when you see the size of some of the insects and fat caterpillars these little birds feed their tiny babies I do wonder .....
A lovely sunny day in Swansea and it's not cold! Perfect gardening weather
We're all busy bees today. Lovely out the garden, sun shining and lots of plants just waking up - acquilegias, phlox and cowslips. Reluctantly come back in now as my back says stop .
Nice warm house for Ben, light at the end of the tunnel for Dove, hopefully happy ending for Butch, big needle for Sue, Happy Birthday to Inka, cyber hugs for Jess and I can't remember what else I was going to say .
Very quick off the mark there Gary!!!
Morning Forkers! I'm here so early today as a mystery parcel that said "Live Plants" arrived first thing ... turns out to be my Mothers Day present from son. Three plants - one obviously a Dwarf Red Japaneze Azalea but the other two pots had nothing much to see. The labels just said Athyrium - Ursula Red and Lady in Red. I've just googled them and they are both really beautiful ferns . Perfect for my shady part of garden/work in progress.
Will catch up later - better get washed and dressed now
Evening all. Had a busy day in school today making macaroons - about 100 of them - and was surprised how well they turned out! They are selling them to the rest of the school to raise money for Comic Relief. Didn't feel like cooking when I got home though so we had beans, scrambled eggs and toast!
Glad Becks is back on the road and hope all poorly Forkers soon recover.

I have kept front tidy but done nothing else.
Geoff likes a tidy front too!
Slughunter - in the Spring the bees go mad for the tiny pink flowers on the Cotoneaster and in the autumn the blackbirds go mad for the berries. It grows up against a fence and does not interest slugs
Have I seen those buckets somewhere before? They look great planted up
Lovely sitting area too
I'm giving him another 5 minutes then I'm going to have a bath
I think he's worn himself out with all that Man Talk Becks
He's nearly done it - one more turn of the handle now ....
