Ideas for Hanging Baskets

I loved the picture of a fern in a hanging basket for a shady corner.  This year I'm hoping to have a basket of tomatoes (well, I've just sown the seeds).

Hollie - it was the vine weevil grubs that finally made him brave enough to eat from my hand.  Glad someone else gives their birds names too

Glyn.  These were young lads and were so full of life and energy they lifted everyone's spirits.  They sang everything from traditional Welsh songs to songs by Take That!  One day they will take over from Only Men Aloud and OH was wondering if they in turn will become Only OAPs Aloud

This is a little baby robin who used to follow me all around the garden (July 2011) and eventually came to my hand for food.  Didn't see any baby robins last year but am keeping fingers crossed for more this year.

Evening all - you've all had a very productive day garden-wise.  The sun finally appeared here this afternoon but I was at a concert - Only Boys Aloud and they were brilliant so didn't mind missing gardening today.  Fingers crossed for sun again tomorrow.  Went for lunch first - Caerphilly Cheese & Leek toasties . Beck's and her cheese & onion sarnie had been on my mind all night     There was a Welsh themed market in the centre of town (Castle Square) and they had put dye in the fountains so they were bright red - very strange.

Nice to see you back Jean - we were missing you!

Right folks - time to get ready for bed now so will say Nos Da (can't go up the Horseshoe Pass here as I live in a bungalow).

They peel them with their little knives, boil them for 20 of their minutes and then they smash them all to bits   (something like that anyway) - loved that ad.
