Me neither!  I'm more likely to drag OH off to Garden Centre .  The inside of the house doesn't get a lot of attention between March and October

Thanks Geoff!  Haven't we got a forum member called Leggi ???

Lottie - glad to hear your brother will be coming out of hospital and am sure he'll improve all the more for being home.

What's the weather like in your area?

Dull and cold - the weather that is, not me

Personally, I would contact Westland and tell them how disappointed you were with their product.  I'm sure the GC would either offer you a refund or exchange for another product but usually a big manufacturer will refund you and offer you some small compensation - usually vouchers.  I was told once that the best word to use when complaining to any manufacturer is "disappointed" rather than being rude or too critical.  I have had a lot of success when complaining like this

Afties all.  Am feeling a bit sad today .  Our dear friends and neighbours who have lived opposite us for the past 30 years have moved to Kent today.  I know we say we'll keep in touch, go and visit etc, but realistically it will only be a few times a year instead of a few times a week.  We already have the neighbour from hell next door down so whoever moves into friends' old house can't be any worse than that!  Anyway I might start sowing seeds today instead of tomorrow to cheer me up .

Sorry Verdun but I'll pass on that as I'm vegetarian and I don't think they would be one of the best things to tempt me to eat meat again

Exactly what I do S. Violet.  Last year I even managed to tame a robin to come and feed from my hand using these grubs.  I had tried tempting him with lots of different foods but it wasn't until I tried the grubs that I succeeded.   They say that every cloud has a silver lining ....

Yes Scotkat - contact them and complain.  You could also mention that you are a member of a large gardening forum and we are all interested to hear what happens!
