Wow Inka - loved the eagle pics and what an inspired maths lesson .  We saw a bald eagle once in Beacon Hill Park in Victoria - one of my holiday highlights!  My son worked as a volunteer guide at Goldstream Park during the salmon spawning season and one of his tasks was to collect dead salmon for the children to paint and then press onto paper to make "salmon prints" - I've still got the print he sent me!  .

Verdun - why have you kept this beautiful garden hidden from us for so long?

Took this photo yesterday.  Thought forkers who like gravestones and growing salad would like it

Dean - it's getting very noisy here now and I can also hear those beer cans popping too .

Meant to send best wishes to Dan earlier.

Afternoon Forkers and well done to those who have been braving the elements .  Our visitors have now gone home and OH and chums are watching the football so I've moved into the bedroom.  I've heard one big cheer so I presume the Swans have scored .

Flo - I love a good Agatha Christie too even though I probably know all "who dunnit".

Dove - I'm with you on your lazy day today.  I'm cream crackered!!

Bunny & Liz - memories of lugging containers of water at campsites

BJay - hope the icicle on your butt is melting

Geoff - never thought of planting chickens in containers

Oh! Deano! - up the Swans

Probably will remember what else I wanted to say once I press "Submit"

We pondered that question today Jean!  I decided that however it was done, the women must have organised it .   Visitors going back home tomorrow so I shall probably spend the day recovering - haven't done so much in so few days for years!!!

Evening Forkers.  I'm with you there Jean - that does sound nice and just what I need to warm up!  Had a cold but cultural day today .  Been all around West Wales looking at old churches, ancient monuments, Preseli Mountains (where stones for Stonehenge originated) and beautiful beaches!  No wonder we all feel tired.

That looks lovely Becks - or do I have to call you Miss now?    Don't envy anyone who might have had too much to drink up in these high places though
