And sometimes you'd have to take the ribbon out to cut a stencil.  If you made a mistake you used a pink correction fluid which everybody loved to sniff - only excitement we had in those days

Same here Flo - I'm more than happy with my laptop (nice big screen too).

We actually did a few lessons of typing to music when I was learning to type

I'm a touch typist too (or should I say three)   I find it really difficult to type on an i-pad, kindle, netbook - can't find the letters quickly if I have to look at them

There's a lot of wiggling going on here tonight .  Sorry to hear some forkers are still feeling poorly - keep warm, eat whatever you fancy and have an early night.

Geoff - I am pleased to report that my lady garden is looking pristine now

Primary - there is a sun, a grey cloud and a black cloud and each child has a wooden clothes peg with their name on.  Each day starts on the sun and 1st offence they have to go and move it to the grey cloud, good behaviour gets is moved back up to sun and so on.  How many are on the grey or black cloud today?

Right - I'm back to finish digging up that pesky celandine which is swamping my little woodland area

Geoff - you said the other day that tiny seed can be started early in the year so do you think I could sow some Alyssum seeds indoors now?  Everyone else seems to be sowing except me

Enough space for a fatsia?

You could consider growing one in a large pot Jen if you really want one.  I love fatsias and have about 4 planted in the garden but have quite a few more in pots.  You can save the berries and sow them and raise your own plants so when one starts looking too big for its pot you'll have another one ready to take its place.  I keep one or two of the "babies" in the house - they make nice houseplants while they are still small .
