Ooh Liz, that's amazing!  And she'd kept the secret all that time too.  I love all the programmes and films about Bletchley.  I love crosswords, codewords, anagrams, etc. and always fancied myself as a code breaker if I'd been around at that time.

When I was 18 my mother explained the importance of using my vote and about the sacrifices the suffragetes had made.  When I asked her who she would be voting for at the next election she replied "whoever your father tells me to vote for"

For some reason my Alchemilla Mollis behaves quite well in the actual soil but I am forever pulling it of the cracks in the path and patio.  I try to remember to cut the flowers off before the seeds set - I don't like the smell of the flowers so that helps!

Hi Lottie - laughter is the best medicine .  Save Les Mis until things are better.

Flo - that sounds like my mother.  She's like Les Dawson's Ada & Cissie - all mouthing and pointing to body parts e.g. "down below"!   She still does it to me now

Cold and wet in Swansea at the moment - possibility of snow in the forecast

Hope Frank & Bjay are feeling a bit better today.  I'm sure some sun would help
