Becks - whenever we have peas with dinner we always take the outer skin off one and throw it in the goldfish tank (before putting any salt on them).  It keeps Natalie (our bored goldfish) amused for hours chasing it around trying to catch it.  She looks like someone with no teeth eating a wine gum!!  Makes us laugh every time and we've been doing this for years

They have to wash it, change its colour, add hair extensions, blow dry it and then straighten it!  Could put them off for ever

What's the weather like in your area?

Cold here but we have escaped the white stuff so far!  Only problem now is people will be out panic buying so dreading going to do normal shopping at weekend.  May have to resort to using dried milk and bread from freezer and manage with what we've got!

Afternoon Forkers - hope you're all keeping warm and well stocked up for what may be a day or two indoors!!!! 

Becks - it's a big decision having your hair cut short after having had long hair.  I was terrified when I had mine done - I'd had long hair since a teenager - but I was so glad when I finally plucked up the courage.  I told the hairdresser (not a man with a hedge-trimmer) to make sure it was just long enough to be able to tie it back in case I didn't like it, but it was fine and made life so much easier.

Dove - hope OFSTED went well.  Had text from my son yesterday to say they had just heard they were having OFSTED today - less than 24 hours' notice (here in Wales they have about 4 weeks notice).
