Afternoon Boxers.  Lazy day today catching up with recorded progs - Joanna Lumleys documentary about Noah's Ark and Downton (love it when you can whizz through the ads).  Going over the border to visit son in Croydon tomorrow for a couple of days so more food and pressies ahead.

The joke I had in my cracker today:

What happened to the hyena who ate an Oxo cube?

He made a laughing stock of himself!

Merry Christmas everyone - sounds like you're all having a good day so far .  Feeling rather full now but can probably manage a couple of Quality Street in a minute.  Plenty of TV to watch now and also have a few things recorded.

Kindle Fire sounds great Geoff - but we won't need to know exactly where you are while posting .

BJay - I have serious wheelbarrow envy now .

Have fun everyone and thanks for all the fun we've had here - long may it continue.

Glad you've been looking after yourself today Dean and seem on the mend.  Hope you will be fully recovered so you can enjoy tomorrow (with a bit of luck it'll get you out of any kitchen duties)

I agree Marion - what a lovely & different programme Loving Miss Hatto was, and as Lazy Gardener mentioned there are some very good radio programmes on offer also.  Martin Jarvis reading a "Just William" story on Radio 4 yesterday evening was brilliant and absolutely cracked me up and there's another one next Sunday evening to look forward to.

Hello Christmas Forkers - nice to hear you're all ready for the big day.  It's a lovely feeling now the shops are finally shut and we can relax and enjoy all our hard work.

Becks - we've missed you - hope Jess sleeps well tonight and isn't awake too early tomorrow .  Really enjoyed Mr. Stink last night and hope the Snowman & the Snowdog won't be too sad tonight but at least guaranteed a laugh with Mrs Brown later

A dry start but soon turned to steady rain.  Hope everyone has a good Christmas and manages to keep dry.

Frank - make sure you're fully covered if you go outside
