Talkback: Snails

I have so much feeling for your 'plight'. This has been a bumper year for slugs and snails. Somebody told me that they would disappear when the sun shone. Can somebody please tell me when that's going to happen in West Central Scotland. I have one single sweetpea and three nasturiams in the kitchen garden. We are all desperate for some heat and sunshine.

I have lilies in the garden for the first time ever. Would it be OK to lift them and re-locate them at some time?

This sounds like what is attacking my Honeysuckle. Is that possible. As you might have gathered I'm a novice gardener ...... but very keen

Thanks for that. I've actually tried the pellets and the gel. It just seem  to give them a 'hangover' and next morning they're as right as rain. Roll-on summer, Geoff.

Can anyone tell me about this plant. I've been told that it is good in a shaded border.
