Beth Chattos', here we come. If you are reading Beth - put the kettle on
And here it is back in spring, with its insignificant white flowers
Ok - finally been around in daylight - so here are some dissected berries. I also "had a sniff" - not a strong fragrance, but the vague hint of plum
There are two or three big seeds per berry - and the seeds are nearly as big as the berry itself
Thats a lot of daffs Steephill
No work for me today, and none til next Weds either .... a mini-hols. Chicklets still need taking to school though, so alarm went off at usual time. Might get out in the garden for a bit later - theres plenty of weeds out there that need tackling
Morning Lesley - fingers duly crossed - hope it turns out ok for all of you.
Morning Dove. Still hoping for the heatwave - visiting HydeHall and Beth Chattos this weekend, and would prefer to leave the snorkelling to Fidget
Lovely pics Lizzie - that rose is looking stunning - does it think its midsummer
Lyn - you may regret the daffs late spring, but think of the smiles they will give you early in the season. Verd - glad you are now superfast. Like lyn, we are end of the line, rural, etc, etc, due an upgrade about 2022
London day today - will catch up with you all on the train later.
Thanks all for your good wishes
Just in from a lovely dinner out with Mr C - new restaurant round the corner, very nice indeed.
hope the floor survived its soaking Dove. And on the subject of tv - have you all seen that Monty has a new gardening series starting Monday - something about big dreams for small spaces....
