Iris problem

No I'm not sure its an iris nutcutlet- it just appeared and I thought it was one! I've not heard of the plant you mention - just googled it but haven't yet found a good shot of the leaves.

It didn't have this black on it at the weekend....

thanks

What to grow on a one acre site?

Posted: 20/03/2013 at 17:34

Christmas trees take some years to get to a commercial size and then they get choppped down and you would have to wait again until a fresh lot had grown! How about something that grows every year such as soft fruits where people could come and pick their own? Probably still be considerable start-up costs though

Iris problem

I dug up this iris which suddenly appeared in my front garden last summer and put it in a pot until I see what the flower will be like. It has grown well. At the weekend it was fine, however yesterday evening I noticed these black bits on it. I'd guess frost damage but we have not had any this week!

Is it doomed?

thanks,

The Top 5 Leaf Blowers and Vacuums

Wouldn't dream of using machinery to clear my leaves - and I get many! I find it hugely satisfying to use my leaf rake, the exercise, seeing exactly what's going on in the lawns, the borders, maybe wear my headphones now and again and listen to a bit of music. Haven't read the links because I am not interested.
