I have been passionate about gardening ever since I can remember, school holidays would be spent helping my father in the village gardens that he was paid to manage. How I miss these times, I learned so much from my father. I did not have the opportunity to take gardening up has a career, money was short and gardening was poorly paid, so it took me until the age of 55 before I was given the chance to work for a local plants nursery. I started off in the propagation section and now I work on the plants advice section(bliss)you never know what problems are going to come in and so rewarding when you can help someone. Its been a long wait but life is good.
