Planting Tomato

hi Jason, Its exciting being new to gardening, I have grown all my tomatoes from seed this year and they are nearly ready for putting into pots or grow bags.  It is actually sunny here this morning in Bristol England which is a pleasant change as our spring is late in coming this year. what is your weather like in the big apple !!! Enjoy your little patch of heaven like me.

Thnks Chicky, yes they are making lots of leaves and shoots and look generally healthy. the sun is actually shining this morning here in Bristol, how about where you are?

Had 2 magnolia Susan in large pots for about 2 years but neither has had flowers. Has anyone got any ideas why this might be please?

French marigolds

I have brought on some fab French marigolds from seed and they are very robust little plants in 3 inch pots. can I put out yet or should I repot into larger pots as they are starting to flower.?

Why have my seedlings perished ??? Could it be due to the peat free compost I have used?

as a new gardener I admit my enthusiasm got the better of me and I have probably sown my Tom seeds too early because of this awful spring. my plants are about 6inches tall in 3 inch pots yes they loook strong enough but a little green around the edges !!!!
