WEATHER this week

While its been snowing in Britain, it's raining on and off in Ireland ,I went down to my allotment

today and parts of it are under 4"of water .on the 17th I emptied a rain gauge and today it was

nearly full that's 3.5" .

I normally buy Aldi ,I find that the main brands are way too expensive

Hi Tina , I suggested to my Daughters that I would like to screw a couple of "Cup hooks " into

their bedroom floor so as they could hang their clothes on them  all three turned with that look

that only women can give . OUCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning All ,Had a skinfull last night the company I worked for gave a party for me to

celebrate my retirement  ,I received a " Caven crystal bowl " the OH got a very Large bouquet of

flowers . still raining here ,can  you Gary or Pennine post  a picture of what you are seeing

not a chance ,the type of summers we had as kids back in the 60,s and 70,s are long gone when in the past 30 years do you remember snow in march . I was down on my allotment on the 17 march and empty ed a rain gauge of 3" of rain and between then and today there was a further 3" of rain ,i think we are in for a very wet summer again this year , the only way to counter this is to cover your growing area with plastic or glass
