the teabags will rot down in your compost bin ,does your sister in-law not brew tea the old fashioned way there's a tea / coffee shop in Drogheda that do this ,no little tea pots for one.

and if you go along to your local coffee shop and ask them nicely they will give you all the spent coffee grounds that you might want ,just tell them it's to keep slugs off your veggies .

Good Afternoon, Oh ? bring back the days of each item having it's own price label on it I can't read bar codes. you go to a shop be it hard wear store or supermarket you queue for the check out and discover that the item is dearer than what was labeled and I am not prepared to pay the difference . @ 56 I'm getting to feel like my Grandad ,Grumpy

 HI ,My allotment rules are much the same as yours, in order for us to get permission to have an allotment we had to sign a contract that the plot would be only for 11 calendar months and that no permanent structure be built above 5ft and No poly tunnels or Greenhouses except small tomato grow houses /cold frames would allowed .I think the Parish council are worried that there would be a haphazard amount of jury built sheds creating an Eye-Sore

Hi ,would it be possible for you to ask the Local Council Environment officer to have a look at your problem and maybe they would be able to make some recommendations .

Morning Frank It is not a better system I hate them as well, but and here's the the rub you only buy the machine once it will run 24/7 where as if you had people  , 3 shift cycle Tax , Pay ,Holidays  , Sick leave

Hi Blackest , it depends on the weather we are getting , Figrat has given good advice, keep the lower stems of the plant shaded the Clematis is a woodland plant ,and don't forget to put in some form of trellis or wire mesh so as your plants can climb
