why not buy a couple of meters of plastic liner that farmers use to cover there silage heaps . it only cost 3 euros/mtr

eveybody say AHHHHH ,.             mice in the house or garden shed /greenhouse are bad .put down traps with some Marsbar as bait 

New apple tree

I boought a new apple tree in Lidl last month new leaves are growing from it allready

is this normal, the air temp during the day  has been 2 -7 deg and at night 3 to -2deg c.

at night my allotment is in Drogheda ,Co Louth, Ireland.

is your plot prone to flooding ,if so can you move to another,.or you could but in raised beds and dig ditches to allow excess rain water escape

Thank you all for your kind response ,as it happens the local county council have widened the approach road to our allotment site,and have run out of money to replant the boundary hedge so it might be an opportunity to plant edible shrubs rather the usual briers that are so common .

I found a sloe berry tree (Blackthorn) on a country lane way near Drogheda co louth, how can I propagate  this plant so that I can grow it on my allotment site.

I have my allotment in  Drogheda Co, Louth . Ireland, the tadpoles came from a pond that tends to dry out in may to sept . the froglets still have their tails and they are about 30-35mm
