What a brilliant idea I will try it on my allotment this weekend
Copper suphate and washing sode should not cost anymore than a fiver
Its much the same in Clogherhead North Leinster ROI
Add 20 grams of copper sulphate to 35 grams of washing soda to 5 liters of water and stir , this solution is for spraying against pottato blight, but since it is the same virus that cauces it ,it may be the answer .you may need to do more reserch .
Thank you very much for your informed responce,I found it very interesting ,Can the dept, get anything right or as the artical says ,are we being forced to use more of their poisons in our food.
I have heard rumours that the E U may be banning the use Copper Sulphate on allotments and domestic potato patches how true is this????????
I was on my plot today and found on the leaves of my fruit bushes small gray snails there was no dammage done to the leaves i have picked them off ,but was wondering why would they be there in the first place
as 4711 says beer slops work ,but some pubs wont give them to you on health and safity grounds so I buy very cheep beer in aldi or lidl
where I am in Drougheda we are about 6 weeks behind the south of Engand
I dont like useing herbicides but what I have read about this plant I sugest you use SBK be very carefull and follow all safity instructions . You can buy a prepared spray for about €5
