Thank u, I had a suspicion about the fertiliser it's good to know I can try to save the plant. Ok so how do I keep the plant alive in winter can it stay outside?

new to this but just thought I should add my two cents. Talking about  neighbours; my neighbour is growing some sort of hedge and it has grown over the fence, in the middle our fences and through my fence (which is those wire things with holes in). The trailing vines hang right over the small bit that isn't paved in my garden backyard which I am trying to turn into a garden and guess what climbs into my garden...snails. As if it isn't bad enough with the slugs which I have plenty of in my garden, the seeds which may or may not germinate, according to what they feel like and the general helpless feeling of I don't know what I am doing but I really want a garden that I get. The neighbours are tenants as I am too so they are not going to cut the hedge because they feel it is not their responsibility and don't seem bothered to tell their landlord to do it. I don't have a hedge trimmer and don't see why I should buy one when I dont even have a hedge. So I have hacked off a few of the branches that I could reach but its just so frustrating.

Sweet peppers (bell peppers, whatever you want to call them lol)

I have tried several times with seeds from shop bought pepper and chilli they always germinate but then they die from some mysterious disease or something when they are getting a bit taller. I had one plant give me two peppers only for them to stop growing before they were mature and they started to rot. The chilli is even worse they were growing fine then suddenly the leaves started to curl, the plant looks really yellow and not very healthy I get lots of flowers but the little chilli fruits dry and die and drop off. It's so de-motivating. I really love chilli

Hi I'm new to  this website and I am a beginner in gardening. I bought a strawberry plant from the shop in a planter it had grown quite a bit with two fruits already on it. I gave it water everyday and after about a week I gave it some fertiliser that you mix in water but the fruits just shrivelled and the whle plant is almost dead its just drying up. Please help. Thank you.
