No I haven't watered it much as we have had a lot of rain so haven't needed to.

Yes got it from a very good garden centre so will give it awhile and see does it improve

Morning Verdun

It was in pot when bought but I planted into ground now and there was new shoots almost straight away but no sign now of any new shoots just dying.

It';s in my raised bed that I built last year and soil seems to drain ok but the corner where it is ,is partial shade so I'm wondering is it to wet, I was thinking of lifting it out and digging in some grit to help it drain better.

The tree is only about 2ft at the moment.

I had to remove a pale white slug off it the other day which was half way up it?

Hi all, i have a young Acer Bloodgood that was planted late January and has been doing very well up until last week were the leaves have all died and gone all soggy.

Any suggestions as to why this might be?

Hi all,I have my lawn looking a lot better than it used to and am happy with it so far except i have a few patches of clover and i hate them, what ever i do i just can seem to get rid of them. Would this be a problem with something under the soil as it only seem to be growing in patches.

Not to gone on heathers Verdun not sure why.Really confused as to what to put in, Have been watching all the Alan Titchmarsh,How to be a gardener programmes, and i see something and say, ' oh that looks nice' then the next programme he does something different and that looks nice also.

I definitely want to add some height into the garden but think i'll stick to low things along the front as it's already raised up.Will grow a few climbers along the fence i think.

Plants are expensive over here in Ireland so have been looking online and have found this place www.gardens4you.ie which seem to be based in Holland and go by other names.Has anyone any experience buying of places like this.
