Hi again,

I have another unknown for the knowledgable out there. This also came up amongst the wild seed that I scattered around this patch. It has not flowered at all, and I was wondering if it was just a weed or if something might yet develop. It is the taller green plant in the middle

Thanks again to everyone who has responded - I do appreciate it. The only thing about this plant is that, well, I cannot smell anything?? I `ve put my nose to it, and I`ve touched it, but I can`t smell out. On looking for other pictures of Oilseed Rape, a description said it grows to about 1` 8", but this one is about 4-5 foot. I`m puzzled a bit. cresser.

Thankyou very much for both of your replies. I respect your greater knowledge than mine of plants, and experience ( I have none!)

Hi everyone, can any of you more knowledgeable gardeners out there, tell me what flower this is. It came in a pack of wild seeds, and not being green fingered in any way, I just sprinkled the seeds anywhere, for the bees more than anything. but I don`t have aclue what these are. The seed pod is from the plant too. Any help appreciated, cheers, cresser

Hi everyone,

Some time ago, I purchased acouple of packets of wild flower seeds, with the intention of trying my best to help out the Bees etc. One or two have flowered, but, not being green fingered in any way at all, I have no idea what the flowers are, so I`m hoping the experts here, can help. I hope the picture helps, thankyou in advance, cresser.

Thankyou to everyone who has taken the time and trouble to reply. I am a very, very, `green` gardener - if you`ll pardon the pun, so any, and all, advice greatly appreciated.

Cheers, cresser.

Lawn weeds

Hi all,

We have patches of what I believe is Selfheal. I have treated it with Resolva (can I say that? ) lawn wedd killer, this being done on the 16th April. So far, it doesn`t seem to have any effect, and there are no clues as to length of time for it to take effect, on the packaging. Can anyone tell me, have I used the right treatment, and if so, when will it start???. Thankyou in advance.
