Where abouts in the country are you? Could the flowers have been hit by a frost?

Victoria Plum Tree

I have to say it doesn't look good Picksey. THe green on the stem is algae and nothing to do with frost. Any sign of new leaves coming through. Look at the buds carefully and see how healthy they look.

Nutcutlet is right. Great for ground cover but easily pulled up.

danceing Queen

I'd google it and take a look. There are lots of plants with the name dancing queen. When I checked Amaryllis came up...but depends how big, big is! Post a photo on here for a good id.

That I don't know but there have been several people looking for id of this plant this spring....maybe the mild winter has helped them survive.

Can You Identify These?

Posted: 11/05/2014 at 14:39

I agree. The smaller leaved one is probably cotoneaster horizontalis and good for the position it is in. The larger leaved one is probably thank you to the birds and I would say it will get too big for the situation it is in.

Second picture,  a primula of some sort. I would post again when the flower opens.

Be careful if you are going to remove or cut it down as the milky sap is an irritant. Use gloves.
