Fairygirl - Ha! Yes, I favour the links at the top as well as the bottom of the page. The one issue with that is that it adds even further to the amount of vertical space that people dislike so much. It is something that Vicki, our designer, has already looked at though, so I'm looking forward to the update tomorrow.

hollie hock and dove - thanks for further input on like / useful. I'll ask about the feasibility (in the context of the other more pressing changes) of both options at our 'summit' with the techies tomorrow.

Sorry, michael mpc - I'm being a bit dim, could you clarify? Do you mean that you've not had a direct response from us to comments, or that you're having trouble viewing posts? If there are particular questions/comments you have for me, do please let know and I'll answer them on this thread (in between ironing and household chores!).

Thanks,

Oh yes, it's definitely an age thing

Thanks Topbird and Fairygirl for views on 'like' versus 'useful'.

Redwing - I'm not seeing those images, either - just broken links. We'll add that to the list.

plant pauper - that's fantastic! Although I wouldn't dream of disrespecting Beyoncé in such a way. (I do prefer sitting down at concerts, though!)

Thanks for that, Bob - we'll add it to Nora's list of items for investigation.

plant pauper - Ha! I don't think that was quite the level of discord that people had in mind! I personally think it would be great to have a 'like' function, but your suggestion of a 'useful' button is a good one...

Holliehock - Thanks for this. Adding page navigation to the top of the page, as well as the bottom is one of the things we'll be discussing tomorrow.

Re: a 'like' function, I recall we did canvass opinion on this a while back and the feeling seemed to be that it wouldn't be popular, as it could end up creating bad feeling and discord. We would be interested to know people's views now, though.
