Hello Ian. This is a species of Ruscus - possibly Ruscus hypophyllum, or Ruscus x microglossum. It's a strange beast, isn't it?

Hello FrostyGardener. You can opt to receive the weekly email newsletter by clicking your name in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Then click 'My settings' from the list. When this page loads, scroll down to 'Email newsletters', then click 'click to open'. This will present you with a sequence of options - just tick the first box, 'Weekly email newsletter'.

New site - bugs

Hello dambuster - we're having a technical planning meeting later in the week, and scheduling the 7-day weather is on the agenda. We're keen to add it as soon as possible, so please bear with us.

phippsy - sorry to hear that you're not keen on the new look. The site is always a work in progress, and we'll be making further changes and improvements over the coming year. If there is anything in particular about the design/layout that you find makes the site difficult to use, please let us know.

mattr - There isn't yet an RSS feed for the blogs on the new site, unfortunately. I've added it to the wishlist, though!

not able to use properly

Hello Kathryn. I'm very sorry to hear that you're having problems with your Scrapbook. If you can supply just a few details, I'll ask our technical team to look into it for you: are you on a mac or PC, and what browser are you using to view the site (i.e. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome).
