seacrows says:

Don't know if it's a bug or a 'feature' but when I click on Jump to latest post, I'm taken to the bottom of the page (the immediate media stuff) not an actual post, so need to scroll up a couple of screens. It's a tiny problem which I can live with, but thought you might like to know of it.

seacrows - sorry about that. I don't think that's been raised before - Nora on the GW team will be in touch tomorrow when we're in the office to gather some more info, so we can look into it further for you.

Hebe P - Many thanks indeed for sharing this - I’ll refer it to the team tomorrow!

pansyface - Yes, your comments are a great deal of use. We absolutely are taking everything you say very seriously. The first set of changes won’t address all of the problems you’re having 100 per cent, I’m sorry to say - but we will be consulting you all as soon as those go live about the next steps.

BEL - I’m sorry you don’t like the changes - we’re doing all we can this week to make some immediate improvements and we’ll be consulting with everyone further on those changes we’re not able to make this week.

sanjy67 - Thanks for the alert - Nora will catch up with you directly about this tomorrow

Shrinking Violet - a revised Help page is forthcoming - the link isn’t on there yet. Nora can help you with this tomorrow (in order to help with any specific problems you’re having we need to gather some info about your system if we don't have that already)

Hello Malcom Brown2 - I'm sorry that you're finding the new look difficult (you're certainly not alone!). We're working this week to tighten up the spacing as much as possible, which I hope will help you. More details on this thread:

We're hoping that less white space will also reduce the 'glare' that some users are struggling with. If that remains a problem after we've released the next batch of changes we'll consult further on how best to deal with that.

Thanks Kitty 2.    Yes, it should make a big difference. I wish we could fit the 'pinch and zoom' fix into the schedule this week, but there's a lot to fit in and the scrolling / spacing / typography should have the biggest impact, before we move on to these other things.
