Hello Mike,

I don't agree with you that our bloggers write "seldom" and about "nowt".

We have five bloggers, four of whom blog every fortnight, with Kate Bradbury's blog appearing weekly. All of our bloggers were chosen on the basis of their knowledge and experience of gardening, and their skill at communicating that.

A glance at our blog index page shows that they cover a wide range of topics:

Do feel free to have your say in the comments section on anything that Adam, Pippa, James, Richard or Kate write in their blogs.

We're not able to offer a personal blog service to users of this site, but there are plenty of free blogging tools available. We're very happy for people to post links to their own garden-related blogs on this forum, providing they're not promoting commercial services or selling products.

Hello everyone.

You can use the Scrapbook tool to bookmark projects, videos, features, blogs and plant profiles around the site. Just look for the 'paper and scissors' icon next the page title, near the top of the screen - please see graphic below. Clicking this will add a link to your Scrapbook, which you can access from the dropdown menu that appears when you click your username, top right-hand corner of the screen.

GardenIng jokes

Posted: 03/02/2014 at 15:41

Hello everyone,

You'll recall that a while back, when things got a bit unpleasant, we started a 'no bickering' policy on the forum. That policy still stands. This thread, started with the purpose of sharing some jokes, is becoming a bit bad-tempered in tone, so we will delete it if this continues.

Do share jokes by all means, but please bear our forum code of conduct in mind before doing so: http://www.gardenersworld.com/forum/codeofconduct.aspx

Lecture over!

Reply to Alan4711 - I'm sorry you're having trouble with emoticons and image uploads. I've sent you an email, with some suggestions for resolving the issue.

Reply to Traceynewbie - yes, the problem with the image you originally tried to upload could have been the file size. We suggest keeping the file size to less than 1Mb - that usually does the trick! Do drop us a line at website@gardenersworld.com if you have any further trouble.

Update on technical issues

Reply to Brumbull - SGL and I have been in contact via email since that post, so it is being dealt with.

Reply to Bill: this problem has been submitted, and it will be looked into as soon as possible. Ufnortunately, we don't have the resources for every problem to be fixed instantly - the jobs enter a queue, including work for all the other sites that the tech team look after as well. This list is substantial, but please be assured the team will get around to it as soon as they possibly can. I'm sorry for the delay - thank you for your patience.
