hello every one . i am back again , continueing my quest to grow  massive pumpkins that dont explode , recently i have been toying with the idea of running a soaker hose through my pumpkin patch , this will be fed from my water but t  , can anyone suggest to me how deep to place hose , how close to plants and is the far end of the hose suppossed to be blocked off as the water trickles out the ends , many thanks for those that can cure my lack of knwledge in these matters .

I have 2 damson trees on my allotment . they fruit every 2 years should i prune them . if so at what time of the year would be the best ?

Hi every one

yet another daft question that i need help with .........

the other day i gave my freinds little boy a pumpkin for halloween . after 3 days of it being left in the window , the bloody thing exploded . does anybody no the reason why? the pumpkin was about the size of a large  grapefruit and was a white skinnned variety , i believe they were called snow globe . all suggesttions greatly received ha ha

hi does anybody know if grapes can be grown outdoors on the allotment if so what variety would you recomend for the british climate
