Has anyone ordered surfina.off j parkers and if so have received them yet.

I have sent them an email and had no reply.

I said was not going to order anything off them this year but the offer for these were very good.

I received my free gift two weeks ago and still no plants.

why

Why every year do I sow so many flower seeds.

This year I did the normal seeds in trays then the seeds I had left I throw them onto the garden which is not planted yet and yes the seeds in the trays are growing and the seeds which I put in the soil are also growing.

My boss has a very large garden which is 40 foot long and 8 foot wide going down to 2 foot wide.

It is semi shade with the sun in the afternoon and he wants it planting up with evergreen flowering shrubs.

He has asked if I would help him out.

He said money no problem and he only has rhododendrons in which grow very well.

Need a list of good evergreen flowering shrubs / plants.

Any advice would be great.

I do have some ideas.

Had a drive down and got some big herbaceous plants for 2.99 but 4 for a tenner

Great value and a great size.

These plants are what the autistic people grew.

Ended up spending £35.00.

It is on Thompson road in Southwick, used to be called the grange garden centre.

Now called the garden mill

My local garden centre has now been taken over by someone else and I had a walk down to see what's what.

I spoke to the new owner and got on very well with him.

The new owner told me he is busy training autistic people everything about gardening.

What a great ideal, how many big garden centres do that.

He showed me some of the work these people have been doing and the results are out of this world, very healthy plants.

He is not getting paid for doing this but does get free labour.

Some of the plants the autistic people are growing are twice the size of the same plants in his nursery.

Anyone from Sunderland who knows Thompson road should call in and see him.
