I should have said, then put in your unheated greenhouse.

Lid off during the day - on at night.

Posted: 15/11/2014 at 21:29, put it all, lock stock & barrel in your unheated greenhouse tomorrow.

As if I know where it is now!

"will the seeds that have not germinated will they still germinate ?"

Almost certainly, just replace the lid a night until they have....then dispose  of the propagator.

I agree, KEF.

Given recent voting patterns, it will probably be Sunetra to leave this week.

I thought Caroline's Jive was fantastic and it scored just 1 point less than I predicted earlier in the week.

Jake did really well again, but I just can't take to the guy.

Hi, Wills

Unfortunately, sweet pea seed react by taking off like a rocket if subjected to too much warmth...resulting in spindly & weak  seedlings.....certainly wouldn't use a propagator myself.

Probably best if you transfer propagator and seedlings (don't know if it's heated or unheated) into a cold greenhouse or coldframe straight away. Leave the lid off during the day & replace it at night for a week or so......thereafter dispense with the propagator altogether, just leaving them in the cold greenhouse or coldframe.

PS. Of course don't switch your propagator on, if it does happen to be heated.

"and it was stated on the BBC website as far back as 2008 that the Results Show which is broadcast on Sunday is recorded on Saturday after the voting has closed." why all the pretence?

Still don't trust em!

I still plant mine above (cos I always have) prune in November to reduce wind-rock & make sure they remain firmed in over winter.

Thanks, Dove...I knew about that. Thing is, I don't totally trust Aunty to be truthful.

Results show takes place on Sunday?  ...I won't even mention Blue Peter.
