There's one I can only remember some of...can anyone finish it for me :-

Take nothing but photos, leave nothing but footprints.......and I can't remember the rest. Something about memories.

Wow ! ! How we've moved on from those pampered, garage  babies.

I'm sure I can retire now.

Feeding & Mulching

I just wondered what you peeps thoughts are on this.

My rose beds are covered with a 2in layer of bark-chippings (fine stuff) and when it comes to feeding, I prefer powdered feed rather than liquid.

Although I know the feed will dissolve & get through the mulch eventually, I just wondered if liquid would be my best option.

Thanks, OL...I was a bit chuffed with the last one, as I had used the system described  earlier. I'm also fortunate to be living in an area that lends itself to nice sunsets/sunrises.

Hope you have a nice time in Crete...my daughter & SiL  holiday most years in Greece - they love it!

PS. This year they went to Skiathos, for about the 10th time.

Due to the recent lovely weather & accompanying sunsets, I've done a little experimenting.

I've found that using a camera with automatic settings has its drawbacks as the conditions throw the camera's settings into confusion.

My best results were obtained by underexposing. Set your camera to 'Program' mode (P on the dial) and use 'exposure compensation' facility....this will darken foreground areas.

this is for gardening, not yucky human ailments.

You may have not noticed, subjects other than 'gardening' are discussed here by people with compassion for others.

Hope your luck holds out!
