The Bakewell Show

Posted: 04/08/2015 at 16:39

I was there yesterday, Rb (for the market, not the show) the weather was glorious...we then went on to Buxton via the Snake Pass....beautiful scenery.  I  can say that much of the framework for the show is complete and ready for tomorrow's opening.

I'm not attending the show this year, but I'm sure you'll have a lovely day....btw, I think Pansyface lives in the area.

Cheers for that, Chicky....I have to change to 'basic editor' to post anything at all.

Pleased to hear your news about Eagle SPs. I'm sure you understand, I wouldn't recommend anything unless I was sure of my facts....I know the expertise & hard work done by Eagle to produce the very best.

For me Whitney Houston had one of the most amazing voices of my era, only to be cut short by tragedy....now ironically in similar circumstances her daughter Bobbi has died today.....RIP.

azaleas

Hi, granma....generally speaking it isn't advisable to feed azaleas after the end of this month, the reason being that it will induce new growth that may be damaged by frost.

I did comment earlier, but I would just like to add, well done to GW for featuring this awesome lady.

I agree with the above.....yes, very humbling to witness such positivity and ability to overcome adversity without complaint.

Continuous ink feed may be worth considering.

Sold '39 images in one week' eh? Well done!

I've only ever sold two images in my life (given plenty away, but that's another story) One to my dentist & one to my chiropodist.....both hang-up in there respective waiting rooms. Alas, that's not what I'm about.

I'm just away to my village fete now (camera in hand) so hopefully I spot something worth snapping.
