Sweet Peas

Good afternoon, I am a new member. The first post I see is my passion. I have been growing sweet peas for 35 years. I nearly didn't do them this year as last year was a disaster but I decided to do container pots. I have never had so many flowers, almost six full bowls to date. They are hungrier in pots and I give a liquid feed once a week and nip off most of the tendrils. So glad I didn't give up, and yes the bottom of the plants don't look great. I cover them with moss. It is still the best scent ever!

Welcome LP...my kind of person...fancy a job?  you can tell all these lovely people how it's done.

PS.  Unless you are sufficiently concerned about the bleeding to contact the hospital, it helps to hold your nose for a while...upright not leaning back.

"David, did you get much residual bleeding after your op?"

Just a little residual bleeding for a few hours after the packing had been removed, then it just turns to nothing more than a weak, bloody water.

Hope she wasn't too distressed by the packing removal sensation.

Best wishes Beth....I'd be ashamed, I had 20 removed!
