Please help !! Wat is this plant??

Posted: 30/06/2013 at 14:03

Don’t make my ill informed mistake before I knew what a spade was all about! I pruned at completely the wrong time and had no flowers at all the following year. Last year however, once it had finished flowering I pruned aprox one third of the old stems right to ground level. It’s now looking full, lush and with what looks like a million flowers (which are just bursting out today).

The bees have loved our borage and foxgloves this year. Now the Allium Nectaroscordum are open enugh to sneak inside they are getting a lot of attention too. These are just a couple of pics taken earlier today. Really lifts your spirits hearing the buzzing.

Your pets in the garden

This is my Moo. Not his original name, which is Midge, but evolved over time and fits him much better. I call him my Nigel, as he loves being outside with me (even in the rain) and comes calling for me to go for a constitutional around the garden several times a day. I’m not sure how much it’s related to the mouse farm under the decking........

Lovely peony happymarion, one of my fave plants, mine are still small buds, but show a lot of promise for a magnificent display.

My spring beauties. Take loads of pics to show my Mum, who can’t come to
visit me. Think she loves my garden as much as I do.
