I have been at war with this nightmare for over 20 years. Oxalis should be on the list of banned plants. I never even planted it , it just appeared and I cannot eradicate it no matter what I try.
I would try Clematis Montana Ive planted them in problem areas.Ive planted them in paving flags. For a fast solution like bare walls Ive found them ideal
I saw several types of bees in my garden last week. They were on my heather plants, here on Merseyside.
I think Berghill is right the leaves on Houttuynia are Arrow shaped
It sounds like it is Houttuynia Chameleon. It is a nightmare of a plant. The tiniest bit will invade and I would suggest it be destroyed immediately. You have been warned.
Its almost certainly oxallis and its almost inpossible to get rid of [ and I never even planted it. It just appeared].
