To hold the bag in place use an identical pot.The bag will be pinched between the two pots. Works with square ones as well.

As they have roots mist spray daily with water. Do not have them in full sun.

Good hardy Varieties: Army Nurse, Celia Smedley, Chillerton Beauty, Dollar Princess, Falklands, Phyllis and Snowcap to name a few. These are the ones I would not be without.

Most likely to be 'Orange Mirage'. Please note that  many fuchsias are of a darker colour when  grown in full sun and paler when grown in shade.

It sounds like the stem is being attacked by a fungus, Botrytis comes to mind. The problem is exacerbated by damp anmd lack of air.

Sounds as if the stems have been attacked by a fungus, botrytis comes to mind. To damp a condition and not enough circulating air exacerbates the problem.
