What's the weather like in your area?

just had a hail storm, the second with in the hour . Looks like i will not be going in the garden now and the weather for the rest of the weekend not the best

We all want to be wildlife and bee-friendly in your garden . How can you stop your neighbours buying insecticdes and undoing the good work you do?. YES i will go and sign the petition

Hail ,rain and sunshine and its cool at this time and a over night frost .its time to get the fleece out agian , or put what i can in the cold frame if there room.

how long do dose it take to germinate  in a summer house without heat but cover by a dome (planted tens days a go) . or do i need to bring inside to get then started ? .No sign of life               thanks bob

as in last year i have grown lot  of  plants from seed off one type . would like to swap for plants off a differnet type with in your own postcode or with in a 5 miles radius in which we live . hope start a new way  to help start to have  new plants  in there garden  . can  i have your thoughts please

It Is Not Spring Yet !!!

well we all know it's cheltenham races next week  and in my area it's means frost and snow   as  for most areas as in past years . On the bright side gardeners world is back on friday (o to be in england in spring). Will we get back in the garden again and start planting up  the seed for summer as i do not have a greenhouse. The weather now here is  rain and mist ,temt is saying 42f but it feel like 35 f. Can i have a few warn days so i can get out in my small garden please

the two methods we use for cats are Catshoo ( scaredy cat plants ) they are okay until you brush past them and then the aroma from them is not pleasant they grow in pots aswell as flower beds and if it is a paved area just brush over with a diluted solution of jeyes fluid once a week .

As we have a courtyard garden our plants are in pots we use adhesive copper barrier tape we find it very effective
