i am new to this growing your own so need some help please with rhubarb.  Planted a rhubarb in September and it has grown nicely but it has like white flowers, leaves with green stems that growing near the bottom of main stalk. Stems are not red.  Can anyone tell me what to do please.

I am new to growing your own so i need some advice. Does it matter what compost you start your seedlings in. In my opinion it seems to be taking a long time for them to sprout. They are in a shed and cold frame no heat or is it just the weather. Last year to me they seemed to sprout quicker. I am using a peat based compost this year and is different type from last year.

As i am new to this gardening lark this might be a stupid question. Can you use clear plastic polythene bags over your newly planted seeds in trays and pots and use these like cloches or do they just keep the soil damp and cold

I am starting a brand new plot about 10m by 5m.  Checking on the weed situation i have found lesser celadine growing all over it.  What is the best way to get rid of it please
