Can you identify?

Thank you both, yes it is very pretty and now I've read a bit about it I think I'll sow the seeds in the spring. There is a very dark purple one growing by this pink one, so I'll have a go at them both.

Can anyone tell me what this plant is please? It is growing at roadside and is so pretty I wouldn't mind it in the garden. The flowers are like a miniature snapdragon. I've collected some seed heads and may sow them if it's not too invasive.

Weeping fig losing leaves

Posted: 08/08/2015 at 19:43

My indoor fig is suddenly losing masses of leaves. It's been in the same position by a glass front door for 20 years and is 5ft tall.  I've been watering it a bit more than usual as we've had such scorching weather and it gets midday sun there. I've looked on websites and some say let it dry completely before watering, others say never let the compost dry right out. So I don't know if my watering has caused this or not. I know they usually lose a few leaves now and again, but I've never had this before.

Help With Everlasting Sweet Pea Seedlings

Well worth the patience, as once you've got them going, they'll be there year after year after year.........Mine are nearly 30yrs old! Might not be the originals, but they self seed easily. Good luck!

Should I do that with mine as they have only been in the border about 6 weeks?

Short Variety Shrubs Suggestions?

Posted: 08/08/2015 at 18:54

There are several short hebe varieties that are evergreen but will give summer flowers as well. They've some in a flower bed at my local supermarket and they look attractive all year. A good garden centre should have a selection.
