How old is your houseplant?

Yes I have a hoya as well, looking a bit sad as I gave it a haircut last year when the frame broke and so did some of the stems. It's now potted into new compost in 2 pots in different rooms to see if I can encourage it to bloom. Fabulous flowers but my husband hates the smell!

Lovely selection of plants witnessing. And no lawn to mow! Lucky you.

Yes I call it a japonica quince, but proper name is chaenomeles speciosa.  My 6 ft tall one was grown from a 3inch piece broken from a neighbours one 44 years ago! Stunning flowers before the leaves appear. I'm trying to grow a clematis up it so that there is some interest when the flowers have gone. Has huge apple-like fruit on it, but don't try making quince jelly from them like I did. They are not the right fruit for it, just share the same name.

Yes Morrison's are good value plants. I bought a Hellebore there for £2 and its first winter it has 12 flowers on it! Most unexpected.

That's my neighbours ash tree. Well it was, until a few weeks back when the whole family decided to cut it down then got fed up! It's certainly an eyesore! But at least I won't get all the leaf drop that I've had in previous years.

The tree on the right is my twisted willow that has just had a haircut. About every 5 years we have it topped a bit. Within a year it will be a big green lollypop shape.

Can anyone identify please?

Yes I have a neighbour with a carex and it seeds all over my border. I'm always digging them up.

Alan I have the same thing. Bought a Warsaw Nike type 3 clem 7 weeks ago and it has grown to about 3ft and has flower buds on it! I didn't expect those yet.

Great photos everyone. Just a few of mine taken today. The perennial wallflower  is one huge plant with about 60 stems of flowers on it. It has flowers on it the whole year round, every single day. Amazing!
