Hi Carol,

They can take quite a while to germinate, mine took about 6-8 weeks but Dove is right, you have to have a good constant temperature.

Brummie, The community was not split here becasue another group was started. It was already getting fractious and with the added strain of this forum not working properly that didn't make things any easier. There were several trolls and lots of goding and sniping. The other forum was to offer people an alternative and I am sure it wasn't intended to take people away from here but if it did then the fault didn't lie with the other forum.

It is madness, I assume that they wouldn't consider giving Monty a cut of the proffits when he encourages people to go out and buy plants etc. So why should he be to blame if he says what everyone is thinking which is that it has been excessively cold for this time of year.

Its a rubber plant as posted above. These are grown outdoors in some places and do extremely well.

What has happened???

It does seem rather leading that there are plenty of posts re bullying in PM messages but we don't know who they are from & I think many could assume that they are comming from certain people and be entirely wrong. I haven't recieved anything along these lines and hope I don't. Its a shame that some peoples behaviour has reduced some people to tears. Whoever it is should be ashamed of themselves.

This back biting, bullying, negative posting and derogatory comments are the main reason I hardly post here at the moment..
