Im inclined to agree with nut, It might be that the roots are too tight, I would say tease them out somewhat and replant it. How big is the tree now? and how thick is the trunk?
Heres is the link guys (I think stephanie just forgot to hit enter after pasting it)
Im not an expert here Stephanie, but did you water the tree before you planted it? Was the hole big enough for the roots to expand? Did you put any compost etc in the hole?
Also I understood that connifers and fir trees died from the roots & stem first so any dead foliage would show at the middle bit not the tips. Maybe someone else can shed more light on it.
Only problem I have is that the garden waste collections dont start for another 2 weeks and I already have enough garden rubbish & bags to make a second garden. lol
I will be outside doung some clearing and preparing my lawn for some new seed. (whatever the weather)
Not a rant but a very enjoyable programe. I have to say that I have always had a fondness for Prince Charles, he is very likeable and a pleasure to watch.
Thanks guys, I just put that countryfile on iplayer to watch..
Yeah, I saw westland growbags for sale from westland for £9 online and the same size & same brand on asda's site for £2
My tubers sprouted just over a week ago. I want to take some cuttings but am a bit wary. I know there are some GW videos on doing it here somewhere.
