Spring is in full swing here, we have daffs, bluebells are sprouting, primulas by the dozen..

March in your Garden

Well I spent a whole day up a lilac tree cutting out the dreaded tree ivy the other day, most of the time I just wanted to throw myself out of the tree but I got there in the end.

lol, figrat, I dont know many people who can get a couple of motorbikes and a bistro set in their back passage, let alone space enough to hang some pictures..

Hi Rosa carriola, its called Erica Arborea ''Alberts Gold' it also flowers and grows to around a meter in 2-3 years. comes in several colours and species (pic4 is the var. alpina).

 These ones are at the bottom of the garden and further behind the growth of the ones in the "sunnier" spots.

I have looked on the net and didnt find any better priced as yet, I just want to scatter them in clumps around the ferns. If I do groups of 10 that will work out to 12 clumps which I think should be plenty (considering I have been expanding my collection of bluebells over the last 6 years and now have almost too many)

Yeah, I thought about that and some of the prices were crazy (one bulb sold for £725). I have found them in poundland 12 for a pound, thats 120 for a tenner..
