Lol Bunny, unless it was the hogwarts knight bus eh?

FloBear, I do love a boys toy.

I also back up all of my images & files immediately onto an external drive after my old computer died on me a few years ago and took everything with it.

I read up on that Gardening Grandma, as I burn quite a bit of stuff like bank details etc (dont trust a shredder). I mostly throw mine on a patch of ground that I cant see but the blackberries seem to love it.

There are lots of conflicting articles on using ash in the garden (I think it depends on what your growing and what your soil ph is.

On the subject of ivy and moss, I never put them into compost as I'm not 100% sure of any consequences. I usually leave my Ivy to break down then burn it (same with blackberries). Moss goes in my recycling.

Thanks Gardening Grandma, thats the site I found first, and looks the best price for size (though I know thats not always the case).

MMMMMM smells a bit off to me, I dont know much about this product to be honest but I'm not sure I would feel confident using it either after reading up on it.

Hi Greenbucket,

I have some gazania kiss seeds, the packet says;

Sow: Feb-April on the surface of lightly firmed moist seed compost (cover with a fine sprinkling of vermiculite, place in a propogator or warm place and keep at between 20-25c (do not exclude light) germinates in 2-4 weeks

Hope thats helpfull..

I spent all day in the garden yesterday just pruning back the overgrown Ivy, I have to dig out around 10 trees aswell (all self seeded and in the worst possible places). Then its digging out a new curved border roughly 7ft by 70ft and preparing a dead lawn (under shade of a tree) for some new grass seed. And (he says excitedly) picking up my new petrol mower today)..
