I must be one of the only people on here that really doesn't seem to like Hellebores. I dont know what it is, they just seem to look like dirty weeds to me. Is there something wrong with me?

Violas or pansies. Which is superior?

Violas or pansies. Which is superior?

I think it depends on the situation planting, If you want strong large blooms then Pansies but for masses of smaller flowers then violas work a treat, I love them both, why not plant both.

Its very tricky to judge, Whilst were still having some cold nights, I was out and about today and GW says its 8c in my area, but my thermomiter said it was touching 16c I thought it must be wrong but low and behold, I was out, ended up taking off my jacket (leaving me in a tshirt) & I have come back in this evening and feeling quite sore I realised I have got a sunburn.

Will my winter pansies ever flower?

My winter flowering pansies have been in bloom since November and are showing no signs of slowing down as yet.

Hi again Keith

Sorry, don't know about tree ferns.

But I think you should start a new thread with this query and put tree fern into the thread title. That way people who know about tree ferns will see it and reply.

Nut, you are so helpfull, create a new post for anyone who has knowledge on that will see it - it may be lost on this thread).

And if your lucky Kieth, Nut may even bring you a cuppa and some cake..
