Back to the subject of NHS, a 50 year old friend of mine who fell about a year and a half ago and went to the hospital in immense pain, they said she was just bruised and referred her back to her doctor. She kept telling her doctor that something was not right & her doctor told her that it may help if she lost some weight. She started using the gym and her partner was taking her out for long walks etc and pushing her to do more (no pain no gain mentality). She finally was rushed into hospital with a minor heart attack and insisted that there was something wrong (this was about a year after her fall) She was scanned & xrayed and was told that she had actually broken her back a year earlier.

Why I never buy online

Thanks GG & Brumbull, I do have to be carefull, I do tend to break easily and have alot of pain & gardening is my only real pleasure since I can barely tollerate alcohol anymore .. 

This site has been my winter saviour and has been lovely to chat along with regular posters. I do get told off by my mothering next door neighbour (lol, she's only in her late 40's). But like I say, I do what I can & I stop when I have to. If I don't do it its not going to get done and since I am the one sitting out there in the nice weather (if it ever comes back), I just don't want to be looking at a pile of weeds.

Hi all, I tried to find a previous post about this but couldn't.

I have recently bought a couple of small Geraniums 'white splash'

 I haven't taken cutting from geraniums since I was young so need to re-learn. I understand this plant isn't perennial and would like to increase my stock. 

1: Can I take cuttings? if so what time of the year? (bearing in mind they are only about 12cm plants now).

2: I would like to keep them for next year aswell and keep growing my stock, Whats the best way?

I know there are some real experts at this on this forum so any advice would be appreciated.
