Where's the scent gone...

I'm a bit disapionted with the lack of scent on my sweet peas. I bought Richard and judy, Wedding day and milly, these are all susposed to be highly scented. I have some in troughs and some in the earth.

Do you think its a weather thing, when i say lack of scent, more like no scent.

Ever notice how the first sweet pea stems are very long,and gradually they get shorter in time !

Wind damage to your plants..

Anybody else been out in their gardens battening down the hatches today. I've taken down my hanging baskets, had to do a bit of tying up on the sweet peas and the grannies bonnets were taking a pounding.
