Feeling good

Posted: 03/04/2013 at 17:58

I have been in the potting shed these last couple of days sowing seeds and potting on and although it was really cold it was great to be out in the garden again. I heard on the weather forecast this afternoon that it will be warmer next week, mind you I am in the south so it might take a little longer to get to those of you in the chilly north.  It does make you feel good though to see the sunshine.

cats!!

If Jeyes works that will be on my shopping list. Cats make such a mess of the lawn. I've got curry plants in the garden that is said to keep them away, well no they don't but the plants smell really nice when it's been raining so thats a bonus.

I've got Mrs Popple, I've had this in my garden since 2003 and it never lets me down. It is very hardy and flowers very well. I cut it back this time of the year and it quickly sends up new shoots. I love it.

Windchimes

I had a wind chime in my garden that sounded lovely during the day in a gentle breeze. But at night it really got on my nerves and one night when it was really windy I got so fed up with them I got out of bed and went out side to remove them, now they just hang in the greenhouse.

WEATHER this week

Freezing here in Bournemouth, we have had a dusting of snow but that wind is just bitter. I did dash out to check the greenhouse and feed the birds, didn't stay out there long.
