jasmine

Posted: 15/03/2014 at 18:12

I had to move my Jasmines as next doors fence was damaged in the winds we had. I have had to lift them and they are now in the back garden. I have given them a prune and they seem to be ok. I will not be moving them again, they can stay where they are. Mine are winter Jasmine, I've still got lovely yellow flowers on them. I do't think they were out of the ground long enough to know what was going on.

Hope you are able to get the things you want Duncan, that's really pants that you are working so late.

Sowing mad!

Posted: 05/03/2014 at 18:26

I started my tomatoes off at the begging of February and they are all growing really well. I have got a heated greenhouse and heated propagators to help them along. I've also got Marigolds, Lobelia, Cosmos, Aster, Brussels Sprout, Lettuce all growing well. It doesn't matter how big the greenhouse, it is never big enough

I have used their compost and I didn't like very much, but their seeds are brilliant, I have had any fail at all. I will be going to Lidl on Thursday, they have got some lovely Geraniums on offer. I've had their plants before and they are very good.

Where have the birds gone!!!

Posted: 04/03/2014 at 19:03

I think I may have all the starlings, I have lots of them coming into the garden. The Blackbirds always seem to be very greedy,  but they all have to fight so hard to survive.
