Alstroemeria

Of all the plants in my garden the Alstroemeria have not been affected at all by this dreadful weather. They are all standing upright and flowering their socks off. Lets here it for the Alstroes!!!

Rain, rain and more rain in Bournemouth. It has poured down all day yesterday and today is the same. My poor plants have really taken a battering, we have had just one day of sunshine this week.

Bad service, bad plants beware!

I always find Unwins to be brilliant. I had some plants on order and they were due to be delivered  when I was on holiday, so I emailed them to ask if they could delay delivery and within an hour I had a reply to say no problem. My plants arrived 4 days after I got home, excellent service. They always pack their plants very well, I've never had any arrive that have been damaged.

Just one strand out of the centre of the 3 core grey flat cable. He stapled this to the top of the wood. It does need cleaning every year, my husband used a cloth with brown sauce ( yes I did say brown sauce) and rubbed it until it was shiney. Good luck.
