BL. The storms here have been very localised. Friends near Cromer had nothing today, neither did Wonky. Hopefully they'll miss you out too ((hugs))

That's an appallingly badly done job.  Absolutely not good enough.  TAke dated photos send them to your solicitor and tell him that the developers must pay to have the work redone, to your satisfaction.

Broad Beans not developing?

I sow mine direct into the veg patch in late October  - I always sow Aquaduice Claudia and they stand our Norfolk winters very well ... they were under snow for 9 weeks once and still produced beans by the beginning of June

We've had some hot dry weather and beans take a lot of moisture to produce ........ have you been watering?


I finished picking mine about 10 days ago and they've been pulled up now, but until then they were getting  half an hour of the sprinkler down among the bottom of the plants twice to three times a week, ever since flowering.

You say it's in sandy soil ... tell us more ... where did the sandy soil come from?


I would plant a tree like this in John Innes No 3 loam based compost, with the addition of one part grit to 4 of John Innes, to improve drainage.  


How often is it watered, and with how much?
