Don't look like my vinca - my vinca flowers are 'flatter' - that one has a more pronounced dunk in the middle (technical term)

Seedlings still yellow?

I wouldn't worry - they look healthy enough - they'll turn greener over time - of course some varieties do have yellower leaves than others.

Pruning a new Malus Coccinella

Hi Liz

I would just leave them be - they'll grow and produce side shoots over the years.  Crab apples rarely need much if any pruning.

Bird disease

I stop feeding the birds for three weeks Aug/September (we usually take our holiday early Sept) and a few times a year we give the feeders a good scrub and a soak in Milton and then make sure they're properly dry before hanging them up again.

Seems to work ... fingers crossed.
